Climate
The Dominican Republic is a lucky place to enjoy sunny days almost the 365 days of the year. The weather is a warm tropical year round and even though there are no seasons to compare with other parts of the world, is just the perfect place to say that is summer for an entire year.
The average temperatures range from 78F to 88F year around. The hottest month is August and warmest and humid weather goes from May through October. The cooler months are November through April. Also, hurricanes may pass over the island primarily during the months June to September.
Worried about rain during the hurricane/rain season? If it does, don’t worry. Most of the times a short tropical rain during the day will cool off the heat and then the sun will shine again like in most of Caribbean countries.
