This beautiful place is located on the east coast, one of the largest in the east coast of the Dominican Republic. Its beautiful white sand beaches are lapped by the warm Caribbean Sea and the calm waters due to the protection of coral reef that surrounds it.

 It is located about eight kilometers from the Airport of Punta Cana, this tropical paradise rests on 420.000 m2 of tropical gardens and lush vegetation. Here you can enjoy a variety of resorts and first class resorts located throughout the coast. An ideal place to practice sports, especially water sports and golf.

You will find endless attractions like historical Tour, visits to nearby islands, jeep tour, on bikes two and four wheels. Here you can practice sports like golf, diving, fishing, snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, banana boat or water ski. But if you seek nightlife, you'll find it here too, can enjoy discos, casinos and shows.
 

What to see / do in Bavaro?

Golf: In some of the hotels and villas for rent in the area, you can enjoy magnificent golf courses where you can enjoy a good game and yet amused with beautiful views. Some of the available golf courses in the area are: Punta Espada Golf Club, Catalonia Cabeza de Toro Golf Club, White Sands Golf Course.

Diving and snorkeling: The beaches in the east of the country are a good option to explore the underwater life within walking distance of the beach is an important coral reef, ideal for lovers of diving and marine wildlife observers.

Manati Park: It is a theme park fun for the whole family. Located in Bavaro-Punta Cana, is an amazing place with beautiful gardens of orchids and tropical plants.  Bavaro Beach: One of the most famous beaches of the Dominican Republic and the world. Washed by the sparkling turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea, this beach has fine white sand. The hotel offer of the Bavaro beach area allows tourists to enjoy many activities such as sailing in catamarans, diving, snorkeling, hiking on Four Wheels, among others.

 Playa Bavaro was declared by UNESCO as one of the best beaches in the world mainly because of its fine white sand and crystal waters. Along with other beaches near that part of what has been called La Costa del Coco, which extends five miles of uninterrupted white sand.

El Cortecito Beach: This is part of the beach called La Costa del Coco, is a lovely beach but depending on the time can be very crowded. In Cortecito Beach you will find a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars.

Arena Gorda Beach: Located in the southeast of the island, and is a continuation of the famous Bavaro Beach and is also a beautiful white sandy beach.
